Why Art for Veterans?

ARTSNET wants to provide a platform for our veterans and their families. ARTSNET is a non-profit organization that has provided cultural opportunities for over 500,000 people in North Tarrant County. We support every aspect of artistic expression, but we want to go a step further. ARTSNET has been involved in the community for over 30 years. Therefore we feel our experience and stability lends itself to successfully create this platform for our heroes.

What is ARTSNET’s Art for Veterans?

Art for Veterans was created out of a desire to give back to our heros who have risked their lives to keep our American way of life. It is offered free to any veteran, or their family member, who would like to use the visual art of oil painting to privately express themselves. Each kit contains:

• 1 Table Box Easel
• 22ML Basics Acrylic Colors
• Brushes
• Painting Knife
• Mixing Palette
• 9” x 12” canvas
• Drawing Pencil
